It was a very exciting time.
I had been sitting with a friend over coffee and we were buzzing about what we were set to do in the new year.
My friend, who by all standards had become very successful in a very short period, had amassed a small fortune in property that had earned him as many millions as the years he had put in.
He had started with nothing but a strong work ethic and a willingness to take risks and push himself, and along with building his business further, he was now looking to mentor others who wanted to follow in his footsteps.
His journey hadn’t come without it’s challenges, and I doubt many would have been able to handle to pressure that he had been under to bring it all together in such a short period.
He shared with me how appreciative he was about having had such great mentors around to support him on the journey and that it would have been impossible without them.
It made me think about the people that I had been fortunate to be exposed to over the years. – positive, experienced and successful teachers who were willing to share their knowledge with me and point me in the right direction.
Through all their teachings, it was the quality of the questions that they asked me that really stood out, and the quality of the questions that they made me ask myself.
We’re all coming into a period now where things will slow down, but if you’ve been following me on my journey you’ll know it’s also a time that I personally use to look forward to what I want to build in the new year.
So if I can share my final thoughts with you for 2017, I’d like to leave you with 2 very simple but very powerful questions that have the ability to lift you to another level in the coming year…
What should I be doing more of?
What should I be doing less of?
Apply yourself to answering these questions and putting them into action and you won’t believe how far it will take you.
It holds all of the key stats you need for a big-picture understanding of the market so you can get on with things rather than trawl through hours of articles every month.
Thanks for staying in touch with me in 2017. I’m looking forward to catching up with you in the new year so stay safe over Christmas and come back focused and strong!
